Owners Raj and Ruchi Kang are delighted to invest in bringing a brand new Just Cuts salon to Manukau which will employ 5 fully qualified, local Stylists who specialise in cutting hair for all ages.
“Raj was actually a regular Just Cuts Client, and after selling our restaurant we were looking for a new business opportunity. We reached out to the Just Cuts team, and the opportunity to open a salon here in Manukau was too good for us to pass up”, said Ruchi.
“We’re located next to the new Kmart, and the high foot traffic location suits the Just Cuts model of no appointments, just walk in as Clients can duck into the salon before they pick up their shopping.”
As the 31st Just Cuts franchise business to open in New Zealand, the brand new salon will include 5 styling chairs, hair washing basins and a spacious modern reception area.
“We’re excited to get stuck in and start supporting our fully qualified Stylists in building our salon business from the ground up by ensuring every Client has a great experience,” added Ruchi.
“After running a local restaurant here for 4 years through the pandemic, we’re confident we understand the local business landscape in Manukau - both the challenges and opportunities.”

Raj and Ruchi’s salon will be running a special opening offer when Just Cuts Manukau opens at 9am on Thursday, May 4. There will be a special price for Style Cuts at $20 (normally $40) for the salon’s first six weeks, and a free Style Cut for the first 30 Clients through the doors on Thursday morning.
