With the rising cost of living making value for money more important than ever, Ku-ring-gai residents can maintain their style and their budget at their new local Just Cuts St Ives salon.
Owner and father of three boys Fletcher Kidd had lived in Pymble for many years, and says he jumped at the chance to open his new small business at St Ives Shopping Village
“There’s a great opportunity for my business to really grow here,” said Fletcher. “The community is growing and there’s a large catchment area, which is perfect for our unique Just Cuts no appointments, just walk in system.”
Just Cuts St Ives opens 9am on Thursday July 14, offering a special price on Style Cuts at $20 for the first six weeks and free Style Cuts for the first 30 Clients through the door on Grand Opening morning.
“As a father of three myself I understand how big an issue cost of living currently is for families, with prices of everything going up and the bills still rolling in, budgets are stretched for all of us.”

The new salon features six styling stations and will employ 8 local, fully qualified Stylists, and Fletch plans to bring his youngest son, 2 and a half year old Lionel to get his first hair cut soon.
“We specialise in kids hair and have iPads and colouring books to keep them entertained and relaxed while the Stylists work. We can also provide Clients with a lock of hair as a keepsake for babies first haircut under 12 months,” added Fletch.
“My sons and I get our haircuts together every month, my middle one likes it shorter but my eldest prefers short back and sides. It’s Lionel’s turn soon and it’ll be a big moment for our family.”
“We’ll be open 7 days and Clients can check in ahead of their visit on the Just Cuts app and we’ll text you when it’s time to make your way to the salon, so there’s no hassle and no queues,” said Fletch.
