Corio residents voted with their heads last Friday and visited the brand new Just Cuts Corio salon as hairdressers reopened, smashing the national record for the most Clients at a salon Grand Opening.
Just Cuts Corio only opened on Friday September 10, yet also placed in the top 5 salons nationally for sales last weekend. There are over 190 Just Cuts salons Australia wide.
Despite having his opening delayed three times, Just Cuts Corio Village Owner Sumit Arora said that in his first 3 days of trading, his team of five styled 372 clients.
“It was great to see so many new Clients who couldn’t wait to have their post lockdown Style Cut,” said Sumit.
“Clients are clearly confident to come back to shopping centre retail environments post lockdown, and the hair salon is one of the first places everyone has visited to say goodbye to at home hair.”
“There is still uncertainty with what’s happening in Melbourne, but I really hope we stay open.”
Sumit says Clients are optimistic about retailing and catching up with loved ones again.
“I’m so grateful the Corio community came together to support my new small business,” said Sumit.
“The response from our Clients was incredible, and my team of Stylists were so happy to meet everyone and start learning about their haircare needs so we can help them look their very best.”
