Just Cuts Carlingford Court Grand Opening April 29
Local Hills resident Ian Jimenez will open his new Just Cuts salon at Carlingford Court on April 29.
Ian decided to open a salon in Carlingford because of the high proportion of families living locally.
“Before we decided to move ahead with this salon, my wife and I regularly visited Carlingford Court and spent a lot of time getting to know the area. We stood in the car parks and sat in the food court watching foot traffic. We won’t be the only hair salon in the centre, but we’ve seen there’s so many families who we know will love Just Cuts.”

Ian also owns Just Cuts Hills Super Centre, at Castle Hill and says COVID was a blessing in disguise.
“We were hit hard initially with business dropping 70%, I panicked and started saving,” says Ian.
“Then people started switching to working from home and our business picked up quickly. CBD office workers who used to get expensive haircuts in the city now love visiting us.”
“Between September and December 2020 we beat all our previous sales records. We’re pleased to see locals who work in the city now know they can get their haircut at a better price close to home.”
The new salon will employ 8-10 local Stylists, and Ian is actively recruiting more.
“Some of my Stylists are mums, so we’ve recruited to make sure there’s flexibility in shifts,” says Ian.
Ian describes himself as a hands on Owner who will bring a family dynamic to work.
“I’ve been in my salon supervising the build, and it’s been great to see people knocking on the door asking when we’re going to open,” adds Ian.
“I’m going to fill the receptionist role for the first six months so I can meet our new Clients.”
“I lead from the front, so I’ll be sweeping the floors and cleaning stations while Stylists are cutting and looking after our clients.”
A Just Cuts mobile app is available for clients who would like to check themselves and their families into the queue before entering the salon.
“My team and I are excited to open the doors and can’t wait to meet everyone in our new salon from 9am on April 29th,” says Ian.
The new Just Cuts Carlingford will offer Style Cuts at $19.95 (normally $35) for the first 6 weeks.
The first 30 Clients through the doors on April 29th will receive a free Style Cuts® haircut.
