New Just Cuts salon opens at Castle Plaza

With hairdressers across the country busier than ever as restrictions relax, western suburbs residents in need of a haircut can now visit the newly opened Just Cuts salon at Castle Plaza.
Just Cuts Castle Plaza Owner, Shezad Javed, says he chose the franchise because hairdressing has proven to be a resilient industry given its status as an essential service in Australia, and the high foot traffic site made great business sense.
The business will employ 8 locals, and the Castle Plaza salon team are focused on maintaining safe hygiene practices and delivering quality Style Cuts for customers.
“It was incredibly gratifying to open my new business, especially during a time like this,” says Shezad.
“I was so happy to see people lining up to come in, and then leaving with great style and a big smile after what we hope will be the first of many visits.”
Local MP Jayne Stinson, Labor Member for Badcoe, joined Shezad and his wife Tarin to officially open Just Cuts at Castle Plaza.
“Times have been very tough for businesses in the last few months, so the opening of Just Cuts at Castle Plaza is a cause for great celebration,” said Ms Stinson MP.
“It’s not only great for the eight new workers, but also our neighbourhood economy.”

Shezad says he is offering Style Cuts at the fixed price of $19.95 for his first 6 weeks in business.
“We’re open 7 days a week and you don’t need an appointment – clients can check in on the Just Cuts app and we’ll text you when it’s time to make your way to the salon,” adds Shezad.
