CHRISTCHURCH COUPLE TAKE OUT #1 PRIZE FOR THE SECOND YEAR RUNNING

AT THE JUST CUTS INTERNATIONAL FRANCHISE AWARDS

New Zealand Franchise Owners have taken out the top gong two years running at last month's Just Cuts Franchise Awards. The event was held during the company's Annual International Conference on a P&O Cruise from Brisbane to Airlie Beach, Queensland. Angela and Michael Turner took out the award for Franchisee of the Year again in 2019 after taking out the prize in 2018 also. They are the successful Owners of Just Cuts Hornby, Christchurch on the South Island of New Zealand.

Angela and Michael were awarded for their outstanding operational performance and impressive growth. In just three years Michael has moved through the ranks as a Just Cuts Stylist, then Team Leader followed by the purchase of Just Cuts Hornby with wife Angela. Together they have built the business to a turnover of $850,000. Their positive approach to everything has seen this couple become the ultimate ambassadors for Just Cuts and their Team. As locals and business owners in Christchurch during the trauma of the 2016 earthquakes and the 2019 mosque shootings have only seen Michael and Angela become even more connected with their community and Team.

"Angela and Michael are an absolute joy to have in our network. They are not only brilliant Just Cuts advocates but are the life of the party in their Centre. I know personally that the Centre Manager knows them by first name, from entertaining their Clients on Easter and Halloween with extravagant displays to gaining local PR in their community all on their own, this couple are a PR powerhouse. When you walk into their Just Cuts you can feel the atmosphere and fun that they create for their Team." said Just Cuts General Manager, Amber Manning.

Angela and Michael were delighted upon being presented with the award.

Angela said, "We are more than thrilled to achieve this prestigious Award 2 year's in a row! This would never have happened without the hard work and dedication of our sensational Team of Stylists and all our wonderful Clients. And I must mention the support of The Hub's Centre Management too. Thank you Just Cuts and thank you everyone!!"

More about Just Cuts

Just Cuts is a hairdressing salon that bridges the gap between the old-style barber shop and the high-end hair salon. Our fixed price, no appointment system is a convenient and practical solution for our Clients, offering them convenient, quality Style Cuts™ cuts from fully qualified Stylists at an affordable price.

Just Cuts was the brainchild of Denis McFadden, who, back in 1982 turned a simple idea into a business concept that would change the hairdressing industry forever. Always one to make the most of every situation, McFadden decided to run a promotion at his humble Sydney salon to boost business and offered all Clients a “no appointment, $6 Style Cut”. The response was outstanding, and the idea of Just Cuts was born.

The following year, the inaugural Just Cuts salon opened its door to the public. And in 1990, the first Just Cuts franchise opened in the suburb of Engadine, in the south of Sydney. Our brand has continued to expand ever since, with over 220 locations in Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom now open.

And in 2013, we answered the calls of our Clients and Stylists and launched JUSTICE Professional – a range of salon quality, paraben free haircare and styling products available exclusively in all our salons at a competitive, affordable price. The JUSTICE Professional line has something for everyone, including everyday shampoos and conditioners, anti-dandruff and dry scalp treatments, toning products, nourishing leave-in treatments and a range of hair styling waxes and sprays.
