Just Cuts™ Franchising | Reflecting on 2015

What a year 2015 has been! And it’s not even over yet. During the year that was, we celebrated 18 new Franchise Owners joining the community, unveiled 13 brand new salon Grand Openings and seven full salon refurbishments. That’s over one new salon a week!
 
We proudly opened the doors of salons across the nation and beyond our shores, with Grand Openings from regional Victoria and far West Australia to the sunny Sunshine Coast and coastal New South Wales. And let’s not forget our openings in New Zealand!
 
At Just Cuts, it’s all about our people and our Clients. We believe in making things easy and convenient for all our Franchise Owners. That’s why we offer all them all the systems and processes they need to get their salon up and running (and ahead of the competition). Our franchise model has been built to last – and after 25 years in the business, it’s easy to see that it works. It’s no wonder almost half of our Franchisees own two or more salons each.  
 
Back in 2013, we answered the calls of our Clients and Stylists and launched JUSTICE Professional™ – a range of salon quality, paraben free haircare and styling products available exclusively in all our salons at a competitive, affordable price. We now offer our Clients 20 salon quality products to choose from. In 2015, we introduced an additional three products to the JUSTICE Professional range which have been a hit already - JUSTICE Professional TREATMENT MASK, JUSTICE Professional CURL CRÈME and JUSTICE Professional FIRM HOLD HAIRSPRAY.
 
As a company, we feel it’s our responsibility to give back to local causes that make a real difference to the community. This year, we raised over $15,000 for the Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia at the Cut-A-Rama charity event. Cut-A-Rama is the yearly kick-off event of the Royal Flyer Doctor Outback Car Trek, which just celebrated its 26th year. Our CEO, Denis McFadden, is a proud trekker and is already preparing for next year’s jaunt. 
 
As part of our partnership with SANE Australia, we created and distributed the SANE Guide for Client Service to all our salons in July. The guide is kept in-salons and is an educational tool for our over 3,000 Team Members, designed to help them to better understand the range of ways that mental illness can affect people. It’s our hope that this guide has helped, and will continue to help, our Teams handle any difficult situations with Clients and fellow Team Members alike.
