SUTHERLAND SHIRE LOCAL TAKES OUT TOP GONG AT INTERNATIONAL FRANCHISE AWARDS
Caringbah local, Lynda Rennie, has been announced as the Just Cuts Franchisee of the Year at last night’s Just Cuts International Annual Conference awards evening held in Fiji.
Rennie is the owner of Just Cuts Home Hub Castle Hill and was awarded for her outstanding operational performance, successful local area marketing initiatives and her ongoing commitment to the Just Cuts brand. Rennie opened the salon in 2007, while juggling the demands of raising two young children, and took out the top spot ahead of 92 other franchisees across Australia and New Zealand.
“Lynda’s commitment to and passion for the Just Cuts way of being has been a standout this year – she is a true ambassador of the brand, inside and outside of her salon”, says Denis McFadden, CEO and founder of Just Cuts.
“These qualities, teamed with the strong business acumen she has demonstrated in her many local area marketing activities, make her the perfect recipient for this award”, he adds.
Humbled by the acknowledgement, Rennie credits her team of dedicated and hardworking stylists for the win. “I am so honoured to receive this award. But it isn’t just mine to celebrate – it belongs to our entire team,” she says.
“This win was made all the more possible by the ongoing support of the Just Cuts Academy head office team – the business model owners are provided with is easy and it just works! Plus, because the company is built on the idea of community, I’ve had the guidance of other franchise owners who have helped me along the way.”
Working closely with the Just Cuts Academy head office team, Rennie regularly organises and implements her own local area marketing initiatives to actively engage the local Castle Hill community and has established a large and loyal client database. She regularly assists new owners with getting their salons up and running and her Castle Hill team consistently scores near perfect marks in all mystery shopping reports.
