From Salon Owner to Just Cuts Franchise Leader

25 Mar 2026

My name is Paul Leuzzi, and I began my journey with Just Cuts in 2014 when I purchased the Westpoint Blacktown salon. Just a year later, I expanded by opening and operating the Just Cuts Kiosk in Richmond. Over the past 12 years as a franchise owner, I’ve had the privilege of growing my business, supporting my teams, and contributing to the wider Just Cuts network. I sold the Richmond Kiosk in 2023 and continue to work closely with my team at the Blacktown salon.

Why I Chose Just Cuts
After running my own hairdressing business for 20 years, I decided it was time for a change. I returned to hairdressing with Just Cuts after some time away and found the perfect combination of independence, support, and a proven system. I was already passionate about the brand and excited by the opportunity to grow within a franchise environment. Today, I also serve as Treasurer on the Just Cuts Franchise Advisory Council, helping shape the future of the network.

Achievements That Make Me Proud
I’ve been fortunate to contribute ideas that have become part of the Just Cuts experience:

  • Just Cuts Stylist Apron – I suggested the idea at my first FAC meeting, and it became a standard part of the stylist uniform.

  • Stylist Competitions – What began as a local initiative evolved into the Just Cuts Super Stylist program, recognising weekly winners in marketing campaigns and rewarding excellence.

  • Just Cuts Apprenticeship Program – I helped develop this initiative to support and nurture new talent in the industry.

What I Love About Being a Franchise Owner
The sense of community and connection among Just Cuts owners is what I value most. Over the years, I’ve built lasting relationships and a strong support network that makes the journey both rewarding and successful.

Lifestyle and Balance
Owning a Just Cuts franchise has given me a balanced lifestyle, allowing me to enjoy time with family while running a successful business. It provides the flexibility to focus on the salon when needed, while also making time for personal wellbeing.

The Advantage of a Franchise
Starting a Just Cuts salon is far more straightforward than building a business from scratch. The support from the Just Cuts Academy provides franchisees with the tools, training, and guidance needed to succeed. This level of support makes ownership smoother, more enjoyable, and ultimately more successful.
