A proud member of the Just Cuts network since 2018, Tenille owned and operated the Wollongong salon from 2018 to 2024 and has successfully run the Corrimal salon since 2019. Her journey into franchise ownership was built on a strong foundation, having spent eight years working as a stylist within the Just Cuts system before taking the leap into business ownership.
“Even as a stylist, I was genuinely impressed by the consistency and excellence of the Just Cuts model,” Tenille said. “The clear systems and procedures really stood out to me, and I always knew that one day I wanted to own my own salon.”
Inspired by her former salon owner and mentor, Lynne Ryan whose passion and success left a lasting impression, Tenille set her sights on joining the Just Cuts franchise family, a decision she describes as one of the best of her career.
Today, her proudest achievement is not only running successful salons, but also building a positive, supportive and enjoyable workplace culture. Her Corrimal team is made up of long-term employees who share a commitment to exceptional customer service and a love for their craft.
“I love being my own boss while still working hands-on as a stylist alongside my team,” she said. “The relationships we build with our clients are incredibly special, many have been coming to the salon for more than 24 years.”
The flexibility and opportunity offered by the Just Cuts franchise model has also allowed Tenille to support her son through his barbering apprenticeship, expanding the salon’s male clientele and strengthening its appeal to younger customers, helping secure a bright future for Just Cuts Corrimal.
