Local entrepreneurs, Shezad and Tarin Javed, are opening a new Just Cuts inside Westfield Fountain Gate on Thursday, 31 October, at 9 am, and it’s a first-of-its-kind salon design for east Melbourne.
Shezad and Tarin’s team at Just Cuts Fountain Gate will be offering 30 Free Style Cuts on Grand Opening Day, followed by $29 Style Cuts to celebrate their first 6 weeks in local small business.
Shezad and Tarin also own Just Cuts Castle Plaza and Just Cuts Port Adelaide and decided to invest in a third salon given the growing demand for quality Style Cuts for the whole family at affordable prices.
“We’re excited to bring Just Cuts to Fountain Gate,” said Shezad. “Our Salon is located right in front of Coles, which is perfect for us to capture foot traffic for our no-appointments, just walk-in salon.”

“No appointments are needed at our Salons. Clients can quickly Check-In at the Kiosk in-salon or via the Just Cuts app, with special access to Salon wait times, grab a coffee and then, receive a text for when it’s time to head in for their cut. There are also other perks to having the Just Cuts app, with so many loyalty rewards.”
Shezad and Tarin are proud to welcome their new Clients into their brand-new-design salon, which will be the first of its kind for east Melbourne. There are 12 Just Cuts salons in east Melbourne.
“We invite the local community to come in on the opening day on 31 October and celebrate with us. Our first 30 lucky Clients will also be walking away with free haircuts,” said Tarin.
Just Cuts Fountain Gate will employ fully qualified, experienced Stylists, and with the salon open 7 days, there are some casual, part-time and full-time flexible opportunities for fully qualified hairdressers still available.
